Popular Internet company GoDaddy is known for making controversial commercials, but this year it was so bad they had to remove it from the Super Bowl ad lineup.
The commercial titled Journey Home shows a puppy traveling to find its way back home after getting lost only to be sold with the help of a website built using products by GoDaddy.com
It sparked a lot of outrage earlier this week so they decided not to air it for tonight’s game.
Animal lovers everywhere declared that this ad displayed animal cruelty.

Even one of their competitors used this as a way to get customers to switch.

However there were some who weren’t bothered by the commercial at all:
GoDaddy puppy commercial was funny. Funnier is they got us all to see it without the $4 million price tag. Who’s laughing now? — Jay Bowden (@JayBowden61) February 1, 2015
I was able to find the commercial for you to be the judge on whether or not GoDaddy went too far. Check out the clip below:
FYI I do use GoDaddy to host my site. I just think that they didn’t think this one through. The only way I would be really upset is if they said “Oh well,” and planned to play the ad anyway.
