Soul Singer Bobby Womack passed away on Friday.
He was 70 years old.
According to TMZ:
Womack’s sister says he passed away in his sleep … she says they don’t know the cause of death.
Bobby struggled with multiple health problems throughout his life … including diabetes, pneumonia, colon cancer and the early signs of Alzheimer’s.
Bobby Womack is known for his singles such as “If You Think You’re Lonely Now” and “Woman’s Gotta Have It.” He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2009.
