I know April Fool’s has past this year, but I thought somebody could use a laugh! A teacher’s cell phone policy requires students to turn the speakerphone on if someone calls them during class. One young lady used this to her advantage to create the perfect prank with the help of a friend on the other line.
Watch the video below to see the most awkward and hilarious conversation to take place in the classroom…
Here is something you don’t get to experience everyday.
Passengers on a Virgin Australia were in for a special treat when the cast ofThe Lion Kingperformed the Circle of Lifeas the plane was boarding for lift off.
Luckily someone recorded the video and this was posted to the Disney on Broadway Youtube page:
After an amazing day at THE LION KING Brisbane season launch announcement, members of our Australian cast felt so elated they decided to sing the ‘Circle of Life’ prior to take off on their flight back to Sydney!
Check it out below:
For some reason there seemed to be a few grumpy faces as the performance went on (But why? That is an epic song!), but after the flight attendant announced that those singing were the actual cast I saw a few frowns turn upside down.
I told my husband that we have to go see this one day with our daughter. This definitely a once in a lifetime experience that everyone should have!
Did this bring a smile to your face like it did mine?

Say what you want but Tyler Perry is making moves!
The Hollywood mogul is at it again with a new movie entitled The Single Mom’s Club. The film is about five single moms putting aside their differences to help inspire and encourage each other with their own support group. Stars in the movie include Nia Long (Best Man Holiday), Amy Smart (television show Shameless), Wendi McLendon-Covey (Bridesmaids), Cocoa Brown (Tyler Perry’s For Better or Worse) and Zulay Henao (Tyler Perry’s Love Thy Neighbor).
Check out the preview below:
Of course Tyler Perry did EVERYTHING in the film (screenplay writer/actor/director…etc)!
Will you be watching? The film will be released to theaters March 14th.
Rihanna has finally dropped a video for her hit single “Pour It Up” today and let me just say I don’t think that watching this at work is a good idea…
The delayed video comes after it hit the radio station airwaves over a year ago.
Side Note: Anybody else get that Joseline Hernandez vibe with the short curly blonde hair she’s rockin?
The video was supposed to be dropped a few months ago when she was filming in different strip clubs for the original concept of the video. However her and the director, Vincent Haycock, went there separate ways due to “creative differences” (catch that here).
I really don’t know what to say about this one. I guess to Rihanna all I can say is do you boo…do you!
Peep the peepshow below.
Are you feeling it or could she have kept that video on the shelf?
During a concert in Brazil Sunday night, Beyoncé was swept away by one of fans excitement for her…LITERALLY!
After a special performance with hubby Jay Z Saturday night for LeBron and Savannah James’ wedding, Beyoncé returned to her tour with a surprise during her Mrs. Carter routine unbeknownst to her. While the “Grown Woman” singer was performing one of her chart topping singles, “Irreplaceable” she was making her usual rounds around the stage to pass the mic to her fans to sing along with her. When she passed it to one lucky fan he reached up and grabbed her and looked like he was trying to run off with the Queen B.
Clearly this man is crazy…At least that’s my non-medical opinion!
The look on her face was fear and confusion all at once. I have to give it to her though. She could have let security drag him out of there ASAP, but instead while she was finishing her song (like a BOSS!!!) she put a halt to her team escorting him out as well as going back to him and shaking his hand.
How many celebs would do that?
I don’t think I could have done it. I saw the movie The Bodyguard. Ain’t nobody got time for that!
Jimmy Kimmel decided to create a video that would end the twerking epidemic that has spiraled out of control since Miley Cyrus decided to shake her chicken shaped tail feather in every animal onesie she can find!
Kimmel interviewed Caitlin Heller via Skype on his late night show about her decision to upload such an embarrassing video. When he gets ready to play the footage he walks into a hidden room on stage where Caitlin has been sitting the whole time thus revealing that this video was a hoax!
Yep it was fake!
The video was shot two months ago then uploaded under a fake YouTube channel. The video received over 9 million views within a week. Heller received numerous requests to appear on several news and media outlets.
The video is so fake down to the Heller’s name. Her name is not Caitlin Heller. In fact she isn’t just a regular chick from Kansas City, Mo. She is actually a stunt woman by the name of Daphne Avalon.
Here is the interview and full twerk video below:
Did you fall for it? Are you surprised the video is fake?
Just when you thought Eddie Murphy would hang the mic up, he joined Snoop Lion (formerly known to us all as Snoop Dogg) on a reggae track called “Red Light.”
Check it out:
I heard the song with my husband last week and it isn’t bad at all. Matter of fact I think that Murphy should stick with this genre of music if he plans to keep singing. It fits his voice.
Speaking of comedians taking up music, does anybody remember the song Chris Rock and Gerald Levert (aka Shadow) made back in the day called “No Sex (in the Champagne Room)?” If not, let me refresh your memory…
Yesterday a “Sex Tape” of Harriet Tubman was uploaded to Russell Simmons’ YouTube channel and the internet went crazy!
In the video Harriet Tubman, played by Shanno Malcolm, and another slave (YouTuber De Storm) decide to blackmail their master into letting her form the Underground Railroad by creating a sex tape. What is shown next is Harriet engaging in over the top sexual positions with her “massa” while her cohort is hiding in the closet filming everything.
After the video was released into this thing that we call the world wide web, many had something to say about it. Most were not happy thoughts. Here are just a few of the tweets that were directed at Russell Simmons:
Russell Simmons issued this statement on Global Grind this morning:
In the whole history of Def Comedy Jam, I’ve never taken down a controversial comedian. When my buddies from the NAACP called and asked me to take down the Harriet Tubman video from the All Def Digital YouTube channel and apologize, I agreed.
I’m a very liberal person with thick skin. My first impression of the Harriet Tubman piece was that it was about what one of actors said in the video, that 162 years later, there’s still tremendous injustice. And with Harriet Tubman outwitting the slave master? I thought it was politically correct. Silly me. I can now understand why so many people are upset. I have taken down the video. Lastly, I would never condone violence against women in any form, and for all of those I offended, I am sincerely sorry.
I can see why people are mad, but the video was a parody. It kind of reminded me of the movie Inglorious Bastards. In the video they had Harriet Tubman turn around that rapes that were happening to black women and turned into “leverage” in order to succeed with her plan to help free slaves. Unfortunately the way the video was done destroyed the message.
The video is no longer on the All Def Digital channel but others have uploaded it to theirs. You can see it below:
